SWIFT RESPONSE, LONG-TERM RESILIENCE
DP World Foundation is dedicated to enhancing community resilience and delivering rapid disaster relief. Through the Philippines Emergency Relief Initiative, the Foundation provided essential aid to communities devastated by Typhoon Trami and the Mount Kanlaon eruption. Reaching over 20,000 individuals, the initiative combined immediate relief with long-term recovery efforts, ensuring sustainable healing and rebuilding for affected populations.
VITAL ASSISTANCE AND LASTING IMPACT
A donation of US$78,600 was allocated to provide vital supplies to those most effected. Collaborating with regional volunteers and groups like the ABS-CBN Foundation, the initiative delivered:
4000 food packets across 9 towns.
300 cans of food to Mount Kanlaon evacuation sites.
Hygiene kits and clean water to displaced families.
1,872 hours of support from 278 volunteers.
These efforts addressed urgent needs while supporting long-term recovery, demonstrating the Foundation's commitment to rebuilding lives and fostering community resilience.
REBUILDING LIVES IN KEY REGIONS
Relief efforts were concentrated in the hardest-hit areas, including Batangas, Manila, Cavite, and Cagayan, where urgent aid was provided to help mitigate the aftermath of the natural disaster. The devastating event led to numerous fatalities and displaced thousands who sought refuge in temporary shelters. This initiative demonstrates the Foundation's commitment to offering support during crises, standing in solidarity with the affected communities and assisting them in their recovery and rebuilding process.
