A Major Contribution
In a heartfelt commitment to improving healthcare outcomes, DP World Foundation has donated AED 15 million to support the development of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital. This substantial donation will help establish what will soon be Dubai’s premier integrated cancer treatment facility.
A Leap Forward In Cancer Care
Set to open in 2026, the Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital will represent a major advancement in regional cancer care. The facility will feature:
- 50 Specialized Clinics: Offering expert consultations and treatments.
- 60 Infusion Rooms: Designed to provide comfort and care during treatment.
- 5 Radiotherapy Rooms: Equipped with the latest technology for precise and effective treatment.
A PARTNERSHIP FOR PROGRESS
Developed in partnership with the Al Jalila Foundation, this hospital will serve as a hub for innovative research and patient-centered services. It is named in honor of the late Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, reflecting a legacy of excellence in healthcare.

The donation was formally presented by Nasser Abdulla, Chief Officer Group Security, GRPA, Vice Chairman and CEO of DP World Foundation, in the presence of Dr. Amer Al Zarooni, CEO of the Al Jalila Foundation, and Latifa Al Qemzi, Director General of DP World Foundation. This gesture marks a significant step in our ongoing efforts to support advancements in cancer care and research.
