This Ramadan, the DP World Foundation, in collaboration with the Dubai Charity Association, embarked on a heartwarming journey to foster unity and generosity within the JAFZA community. Our Iftar Tent Campaign was more than just an initiative—it was a celebration of the spirit of Ramadan and the rich tapestry of cultures that make up the UAE.
A FEAST OF COMMUNITY SPIRIT
Throughout the holy month, our campaign provided 12,000 Iftar meals each day, totalling of 360,000 meals. These meals were shared with workers from over 200 different nationalities in JAFZA, bringing people together in a spirit of togetherness and understanding.
GATHERING IN UNITY
Our three dedicated Iftar tents in JAFZA became vibrant centers of community life. These spaces offered more than just a meal; they provided a place for people to connect, share stories, and celebrate the essence of Ramadan together.
