DP World Foundation first-ever charitable project in Egypt the "Back to School" initiative. The initiative aimed to distribute 5,000 school boxes containing essential supplies, including stationery and school bags, to underprivileged male and female students in Luxor and Aswan, along with surrounding districts such as Esna, Edfu, and Kom Ombo.
The initiative, which was carried out in collaboration with the National Alliance for Civil Development Action, marks a significant milestone in DP World Foundation’s efforts to provide educational support to communities in need. A special closing ceremony was held in Aswan, featuring a captivating performance by students from Nubian schools and a warm welcome for the guests. The event was attended by Nasser Abdulla, Vice Chairman & CEO of DP World Foundation, Omar Sharif Al Marzouqi, Board Member of DP World Foundation, Latifa Al Qemzi, Director General of the Foundation, Dr. Amr Lashine, Deputy Governor of Aswan, and a large group of students from schools in need of support. The Foundation expressed its gratitude to all partners involved in making the project a success.

DP WORLD FOUNDATION SHIP JOURNEY
DP World Foundation's ship embarked on a journey down the Nile, accompanied by a convoy of trucks loaded with school supplies for students in Luxor, Aswan, and surrounding areas.
The journey began with its first stop in Esna, followed by Edfu, and continued to its third stop in Kom Ombo, it then made its final stop in Aswan Governorate, where the last school supplies were distributed, marking the completion of the Foundation's first charitable project in Egypt. This journey reflected the Foundation’s commitment to improving education and supporting communities along the Nile.
